My task for this project was developing both the inventory and item-interaction systems. I built the system to both support narrative progression and act as a subtle guidance tool for players exploring the world.

Creating an interactive, map-inspired inventory layout with three narrative-based paths

Enabling item rotation and persistent text for scrolls, allowing players to revisit clues and visual details as needed

Implementing a dynamic item-interaction system that reacts accordingly to story progression
